This Privacy Policy describes how TheHut ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our application to manage property bookings and maintenance.

We collect information to provide better services to all our users. The types of information we collect include:

Account Information: When you sign in with your Google Account, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture to authenticate you and facilitate collaboration within the app.
Calendar Data (Google Calendar Integration): If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, we access your calendar list and events. This allows us to synchronize bookings between TheHut and your personal or property-specific calendars.
App Content: Information you explicitly store in the app, such as property details, tasks, and booking information.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Service Provision: To provide, maintain, and improve the functionality of TheHut, such as managing your property schedules.
Synchronization: specifically, to sync booking dates from TheHut to your Google Calendar and to import blocked dates from your Google Calendar into TheHut.
Communication: To send you notifications about updates, tasks, or changes to bookings.

3. Information Sharing

We do not share your personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of TheHut except in the following cases:

With your consent: We will share personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of TheHut when we have your consent to do so.
For external processing: We use Firebase (a Google service) to store and process your data securely.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time directly within the application settings or by contacting us.

Google API Services User Data Policy

TheHut's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Security

We work hard to protect TheHut and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information we hold. We use robust encryption and authentication mechanisms provided by Google Firebase.
